This years outfits were fitting to the 'Karl Lagerfeld' theme. Dominated by black and white, the met carpet (crafted by an Indian craftsman), adorned by even some iconic Chanel looks from Lagerfeld's time, was as usual a starstruck event paying homage that was Karl Lagerfeld himself. Although Lagerfeld can be termed as a 'problematic man', his fashion and contribution to it will remain icon through the years. My top outfits from the Met this year were those of Anne Hathaway, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, Gigi Hadid, Jenna Ortega, Diddy, and Cara Delevingne. What were your favourite looks from this year?

In Clothing and Trends
2022 has been the year for some crazy trends in fashion and beauty. With certain colours taking over and with some trends making a comeback. With arguments over whether low waist jeans win over high waisted jeans, skinny jeans vs wide leg pants and the battle between to wear a cropped top or an oversized t-shirt, it is evident that trends are subjective and will always remain a personal preference. However, that doesn't stop me from writing about the one best trend from 2022 and what I think was the worst. Best: Corsets!!! I'm all for the DIY make-your-own corset from scraps of jeans or clothes trend, the lacy yet classy corsets, and the solid corsets that don't crush your lungs or stop your circulation but are so chic. Worst: Tiny Bags. The point of having bags as small as my fist is invisible to me. Being a woman, I know that I definitely need much more space in my bag. Small bags for night outs are hard enough to work with, especially when I'm trying to squeeze in about 10 things for a night out. These bags need to go asap. What is your take on the best and worst trends of 2022?
